摘要：
The DCTT pile (driven-tube cast-m-place thin-wall tubular pile) was invented by Prof. Xie Qingdao, which is a new style pile for soft clay ground improvement. The technical principle and construction equipments are introduced in detail in the paper. The new style pile has been applied to traffic engineering, hydraulic engineering and architectural engineering. Comparing with the traditional DCC pile (diving casing cast-in-place pile), it possesses many advantages such as high bearing capacity, reliable quality, low cost, minor effect on environment etc. It is indicated by its engineering application that the DCTT pile has great engineering application prospect.
