Water balance for the Vinkovci area

By computer program and meteorological parameters balance of rainfall and first phase hydrological estimate of water balance components in soil were determined. Evapotranspiration of culture (during vegetation-IV-X months) in 1993. was 511 mm and in 1994. 534 mm. Total water deficit during first investigation year amounted 131.5 mm, during second year of 91 mm. Significant water deficit were noticed in 1993, especially in July and august when most of the spring crops of this area are at flowering and grain formation phase. This kind of keeping up with climate data is most important for the agricultural land-reclamation measures or for the estimates and planning of irrigation or drainage.
