Chemistry in Breaking Bad: A Chemist starring a Series

The American TV series Breaking Bad is starring a highly intelligent, cancer-afflicted chemist, Walter H. White. His worries about his family's financial future lead him to begin producing N-methylamphetamine (Crystal Meth) and he starts dealing the drug. Walter uses his superior intelligence and scientific knowledge to become successful in a drug scene characterised by violence. He transforms from a disillusioned man and respectable father into a determined, unscrupulous character who is not afraid of taking the most drastic actions.
