摘要
A model and equations for propagation of damage (microstructurally and physically short cracks) and ultimate failure from. a smooth surface in specimens or structural elements under the conditions of combined loading with cyclic tension - torsion are presented. Threshold conditions for microstructurally and physically short cracks are formulated. The endurance of smooth specimens under various cyclic loading conditions is evaluated within the model proposed.
