Performance and durability verification tests on rationalized joint of pre-cast steel-concrete composite deck for replacement of deteriorated highway bridge slab

摘要
The authors aim on precast steel-concrete composite deck slabs for replacement of existing damaged deck slabs. The key point is devising and developing a rationalized joint structure, which shortens the operation period and saves labor, for the joint structure of the jointing part. Therefore, concrete cracking properties on the intermediate support negative bending region and the fatigue endurance of the jointing parts for traffic load are investigated by a negative bending test on full size composite girder specimens and wheel load running tests using real-size deck specimens. In this paper, we the results of those two type loading tests are reported.
