摘要
The developments and trends of pizza industry in the United States is discussed. The American pizzas differed from their Italian counterparts as they contained more cheese and toppings that suited American tastes. Bake-to-rise pizzas are the latest developments in the rapidly evolving pizza industry. The popularity of pizza is also growing globally, gaining greater acceptance in Europe and Latin America, as well as in many parts of Asia and the Pacific Rim. Pizza is rapidly becoming a food item recognized around the world and has proven itself capable of acceptance by many diverse cultural and ethical groups.
