The Dynamic Recrystallization Behavior of Ti-5553 Titanium Alloy during Hot Deformation

摘要
The dynamic recrystallization behavior of Ti-5553 titanium alloy was researched by hot compression test. compression tests were carried out on a Gleeble-1500 thermal simulation testing machine in the temperature range of 800 similar to 860 degrees C, at strain rate range of 0.1-10 s(-1). The results show that initial grain boundary bulging nucleation is the main nucleation of dynamic recrystallization mechanism at high temperature and low strain rate. Dislocation nucleation is the main mechanism of dynamic recrystallization nucleation at low temperature, high strain rate and large deformation. In the non-uniform, adiabatic shear phenomenon is funded. Subgrain nucleation growth is the main nucleation mechanism of dynamic recrystallization.
