摘要
Patent documents are an ample source of technical and commercial knowledge in terms of technical progress, market trend and proprietery ownership, thus, patent analysis has long been considered as an useful vehicle for R&D management in corporate setting and techno-economic analysis in macro context. Here we propose a method to derive the patterns and trends of a technology using information from patents, named technology mapping. Technology mapping is an effective evaluator for any technology's health, useful for research & development facilities and product evaluators for their customized product and services domain. In this paper we have mapped Supply Chain Management as a example using text mining techniques from patent literature. players of the same. The mapping included classification at different levels, assignees, development trend and maturation level.
