摘要：
The crystal structure of the title compound, (C8H19ClN)(2)[CoCl4], has been determined at 203 K. It is built up from alternating layers of organic cations and inorganic [CoCl4](2-) anions. The asymmetric unit consists of two cations with different conformations, one cation being disordered. The structure exhibits both N-H ... Cl and C-H ... Cl hydrogen bonds.
