摘要
China's banking industry is being challenged by the transformation from the separated operation mode to mixed operation mode. The close study on the characteristics change of banking market structure is of great significance for the reform of China's banking industry. This paper, using the HHI indicator, Lorenz Curve and Gini coefficient, analyzes the banking market concentration, and argues that China's banking market structure under separated operation mode is the local oligopoly, which can restrict its own business; under. mixed operation mode, banking market will become even more concentrated and complicated. Financial industry may transit from the local banking monopoly to the monopoly of whole industry based on the banking system. According to the amended perfect competitive market equilibrium model, and the specific characteristics of China's banking industry monopoly structure, the paper analyzes the way of banking oligarchies reaping excess profits under the two different operation mode, and figures out that, with the change of operation mode, excess-profits of banking oligarchies will continue to increase.
