摘要
Engineering materials suppliers' selections directly affect the quality of the construction and economic benefits. Based on the basic principles and methods of the value engineering theory, this paper discussed the application method and basic steps of the value engineering in engineering material supplier optimization program. Combined with practical engineering, the optimal scheme of concrete material supplier is an example. The results showed that, using the basic method of the value engineering theory, through the function evaluation, cost evaluation and value evaluation coefficient calculation, can determine the optiaml material supplier and provide scientific and reasonable basis.
