摘要
In the context of Spanish universities, the current systems of education and implementing of degree programmes require the use of new technologies as an educational tool. However, few studies have analysed the impact of students' attitudes towards new technologies. Thus, our objective in this study was to analyse attitudes towards computer use behaviour as a tool for the study of university subjects, comparing the fit and predictive ability of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) vs. the theory of acceptance of technology (TAM). Our results indicate that the components of the TAM can improve the percentage of variance accounted for with regard to behaviour by the TPB. Furthermore, it highlights the desirability of using the computer as a studying tool from earlier stages of education to generate a favourable disposition towards using computers at university.
