摘要
Taking the relationship between social responsibility and corporate performance of the start-up enterprise as basic research hypothesis, this article analyzed the panel data of 267 selected companies in GEM Shanghai stock market from 2010 to 2014, and verified the relationship between the two variables. The study result indicates that: social responsibility has a negative effect on the performance of the start-up company. Therefore, start-ups should build up the framework of social responsibility matching to its own performance, trying to keep a balance of the increased short-term costs resulted(derived) from social responsibility and their long-term profits.
