摘要
The 21 century witnesses a new surge of highway construction in China. To highway construction, especially the one in the soft soil area, it poses new challenges to investigators as well as designers because of the higher requirement in construction technology the longer time, which directly bring about the higher cost. This paper, through an application of the high-density resistivity method in the highway's soft-soil survey, explains its working principle, field work methods, application results and advantages. The results show that the high density resistivity method can effectively determine the distribution range, the thickness and depth of the bed of soft soil layer, and this research results have a positive and guiding role to soft-soil survey, governance and construct ion of highways.
