摘要
The integration of renewable power plants of the random nature brings new challenges to the conventional unit commitment problem. The scheduling of thermal generation units with integration of wind farm is usually based on forecasted wind power on day-ahead basis. In this paper, Dynamic Programming Algorithm to find optimum scheduling of thermal generation considering wind farm is proposed. To show the usefulness of proposed algorithm, a test model with ten thermal units and wind farm is presented with two different combinations. Initially, the test model is formed considering only thermal units and in a second stage wind farm is introduced leading to a model with wind-thermal coordination. Obtained results are presented and compared with the different methods available in the literature.
