摘要:
The micellization behavior of cetyltributylphosphonium bromide (CTBPB) has been studied in aqueous ethylene glycol, dimethyl formamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, acetonitrile, I-propanol, methanol, 1,4-dioxane and tetrahydrofuran mixtures (10-20% v/v) over the temperature range (300-320 K) by conductometry. The critical micelle concentration (cmc), extent of counterion binding (alpha) and thermodynamic parameters (Delta G(m)degrees, Delta H-m degrees, Delta S-m degrees) for micellization process have been reported and discussed. The cmc values were found to increase with an increase in temperature and % of organic solvent.
