A 16-year-old boy suffered severely disabling post-hypoxic myoclonus. Neurophysiological investigation showed cortical but not reticular reflex myoclonus. Add-on therapy with levetiracetam significantly improved the patient's clinical condition, suppressed cortical myoclonus-associated spikes, and enabled further neurorehabilitation.
