摘要
It is estimated that more than 80 percent of ship's manufacture cost is caused by concept design of ship. For a large ship, this means tens of billions of dollars. Based on the relationship between design process and DSS (Decision Support system), this paper discussed the conceptual design process of ship. A model of optimizing ship design was developed. Genetic algorithms were used to simulate the ship design. The conclusion was given finally.
