摘要：
Purpose - by studying the characteristics of venture funds investment policies to identify the problems and determine the development of venture capital industry, which is necessary for the economic development of Kazakhstan. Methodolog - the basis of the study was the works of foreign and Russian scientists, and government program of building and developing the national innovation system of Republic of Kazakhstan. Originality/value - this paper presents the status, development and problems of the venture capital industry in Kazakhstan. Findings - there were identified the deficiencies during the development of venture capital funds in Kazakhstan and there were also provided the recommendations for solving some problems.
