摘要
Different sorts of carbon monoxide laser systems such as a compact slab RF discharge overtone CO laser (lambda similar to 3.0 - 4.0 mu m) with output power up to similar to 2.0 W, a master oscillator - power amplifier fundamental band CO laser facility emitting nanosecond pulses with peak power up to similar to 0.4 MW in the spectral range of similar to 5.0 - 7.5 mu m, an efficient (similar to 25%) second harmonic emitter based on the latter system, and difference frequency generation (4.3 - 4.9 mu m) under nonlinear mixing of fundamental, second harmonic and sum frequency CO laser spectral lines are discussed.
