JCB has developed a compact and fuel efficient Stage IV version of the Ecomax engine. This engine packages within the existing JCB mid range machines with minimal change. JCB has extended the range of engines offered with the introduction of the 7.2L 6 cylinder Ecomax. Power coverage is now 55kW to 225kW The new 6 cylinder engine offiers exceptional fuel economy and performance in larger excavators and loading shovel applications. The JCB range of engines is increasingly finding favour with third party customers who now account for a significant portion of production volumnes.
