Implementation of RFID Technology to Improve CSR in the Supply Chain

In recent years RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) h as become very popular in many service industries, purchasing and distribution logistics, industry, manufacturing companies and material flow systems, which can not only improve performance of companies, but also improve their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in some cases. So this paper puts forward an argument that RFID technology should be developed greatly to meet CSR requirement in the supply chain. In particularly, a case study is given to show how RFID can improve both performance and CSR in the supply chain of a chemical company.
