A robust topology control algorithm for channel allocation in the Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc networks

摘要
Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc network, a multi-hop wireless communication etwork, is composed of Cognitive Radio (CR) techniques, which combines the advantage of CR with Ad Hoc network and makes a contribution of breaking the limit of the spectrum shortage for conventional Ad Hoc network. Thus, the channel allocation becomes a hot issue in this area. With topology control of the whole network, this paper proposes an algorithm which focuses on assigning channels to bring a high connectivity of the whole network, while maintaining a robust network at the same time. The simulation results reveal a better performance on the network connectivity with the proposed robust topology control algorithm. Meanwhile, the fairness between Primary User (PU) and Second User (SU) can be achieved using this algorithm.
