A SUPPLIER SELECTION METHOD USING AR- DEA AND FUZZY VIKOR

Nowadays, the problem of supplier selection has emerged as an active research field where numerous research papers have been published around this area within last few years. Supplier selection plays a key role in supply chain management (SCM) and deals with evaluation, ranking and selection of the best option from a pool of potential suppliers especially in the presence of conflicting criteria. This paper proposes a new method for selection and ranking suppliers by integration of fuzzy VIKOR (Serbian: Vlsekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje) and assurance region-data envelopment analysis (AR-DEA). We apply the integrated approach in a real case to demonstrate the application of the proposed method.
