摘要
We proposed a novel technique for measuring the surface potential of plastic films by detecting the electric field generated by charge oscillation. Charged polyamide films were vibrated by an acoustic wave at frequencies of up to 1 kHz, and the electric field was detected through a monopole antenna. Changes in the electric field caused by the vibration of the charged film indicate that the electric field was induced by charge oscillation. The surface potential and electrical polarity were related to the electric field intensity and phase, respectively. This method has the capability of detecting the surface potential at a longer distance than that for a surface potential sensor. (c) 2013 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
