摘要
In this work energetic, economic and environment effects of Energy Recovery System (ERS) have been investigated in Mediterranean region. Hour-by-hour energy performance of ERS has been simulated by TRNSYS and INSEL software. Then, a complete economic equation of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) has been built and optimized as a function of economic and thermal parameters. The results show that the optimum heat transfer area of 11.16 m(2) can save 16.86% from annual energy demand and reduce LCC by 4.2%. The payback period of this system from annual saving is about 7.19 years. Furthermore, once only 2.5 million residential building in Mediterranean region install ERS, about 1.2 M ton CO2 will be reduced annually. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
