Constructions of Constant Composition Codes from Partitioned Difference Families

摘要
Constant composition codes (CCCs), a generalization of constant weight binary codes, have attracted lots of interests due to their numerous applications. A partitioned difference family (PDF) was first introduced by Ding and Yin and used to construct optimal constant composition codes (CCCs). In this paper, we develop a close link between PDFs and 1-rotational resolvable balanced incomplete designs (RBIBDs). With this link, a great bulk of PDFs are derived from the known 1-rotational RBIBDs in design theory. Then we obtain a lot of optimal constant composition codes.
