摘要
In this study, rate of strength gain and durability of ternary cement concretes containing both pumice and silica fume is compared with binary cement based mixes. w/b ratio and total cementitious materials were kept constant for all mixes at 0.38 and 420 Kg/m(3). Durability tests included rapid chloride permeability test (RCPT) and electrical resistance. The results show that by combined use of silica fume and pumice, concretes having high durability, good rate of strength gain and with technical and economic advantages compared to concretes without pozzolan or based on binary cements, can be produced.
