An investigation of morpho-anatomical characters within the genus Genetta (Carnivora, Viverridae) with a remark on Osbornictis, the aquatic genet

Through an exhaustive observation of morpho-anatomical characters related to some Viverrinae (genets and much less than genetslike much greater than taxa), two identification keys based on cranial and coat characters are proposed for the genus Genetta. Such a survey also allows us to reconsider the plantar pads description of the poorly known species Osbornictis piscivora.
