摘要：
This article describes the results of an investigation concerning the failure of a driven gear of the turbine main oil pump in a power water cogeneration plant. The cause of the failure was determined by conducting a physical inspection, performing a detailed macro and micro examination, and examining a similar gear failure in another turbine of the plant. The failure of the driven gear was attributed to tooth-bending fatigue.
