Research of information Grid portal based on Gridsphere

Grid Portal gives, an easy way to access Grid services and resources. Currently the existing Grid portals are mainly designed for Computational Grids whose aim and functionality are not quite the same as Information. Grid Portal (IGP). With lots of observation, we put forward the architecture and key components of IGP based on Gridsphere. This architecture can be divided into four layers: the view layer, the portal service layer, the information service domain layer and the control layer. The notable difference between it and the current existing architectures is that the portal service layer packs the core operations of Grid system according to the requirements of IGP. The Information Grid Portal implements four key components on security, resource monitoring and management, service management, data management. The notable difference is that the information discovery, workflow composition and transaction support in service management component are designed to meet the requirements of IGP.
