摘要
The paper observe the context of dynamic provided by the rapid adoption of social media by academic libraries causing a new model of Academic Library 2.0. Then discuss the profile of Librarian 2.0 toward collaborative and innovative reality on the social media that causes it to interact with these media looking for to answer the professional and personal skills that the modern information environment needs. The results show that there is a gap in the study of the profile of the librarian that is working with social media in Brazil, looking for the reality in countries like the U. S., Spain and Canada already has prepared studies on the skills and competencies inherent in this professional profile that has technological and innovative features that point to the strengthening of relations between librarians and users.
