摘要
Conformal FDTD method is developed for simulating an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) with multiple wedge structures made of PEC, dielectric, and even PEC and dielectric composites, respectively, where the FDTD result agrees very well with that of the Method of Moments (MoM) and Physics Optics (PO). Numerical investigations are further carried out for capturing transient responses corresponding to scattering, reflecting and diffracting processes of the incident EMP interacting with different multiple wedges. Some useful information are obtained for enhancing as well as suppressing the effects of multiple wedge structures on the propagation of EMP, which can be further exploited for controlling complex electromagnetic environment effects (E3) on certain platform.
