摘要
According to Maxwell's electromagnetic theory, a classical electromagnetic system, like a charged conducting magnetized sphere, has an intrinsic angular momentum, or spin, even if it is not physically rotating. This angular momentum is negligible for systems of macroscopic dimensions (but in the limit of very high voltage and magnetization). However, that is not the case for systems of atomic dimensions because the magnitude of this angular momentum is inversely proportional to the size of the system. (C) 2019 Physics Essays Publication.
