摘要
California State University Los Angeles is a leading institution that integrates its sustainable infrastructure into curriculum and research projects demonstrating the concept of "campus as a living laboratory." This paper features examples of sustainable campus infrastructure that contribute to education the next generation of engineers and technology professionals. For example the Hydrogen Research and Fueling Facility enables research, workforce development, and laboratory experiences that support academic courses with topics on fuel cells, hydrogen infrastructure, and clean transportation. The electric vehicle chargers provide data for research and analysis in advanced transportation. The photovoltaic installation provides ample performance data and design review case studies in photovoltaics. The campus physical plant and energy consumption data are also integrated into courses that target energy efficiency and sustainability.
