摘要：
The article presents history and perspectives of development modern electric traction. Current state and opportunities and prognosis for electrified transport taking into account electromobility policy in Poland and the World is discussed. Due to 100 anniversary of didactic of electric traction at Warsaw University of Technology role of Electrical Engineering Faculty in teaching and research on electric traction is presented.
