摘要
Vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) are special cases of mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs), in which nodes are highly mobile, so network topology is changing very fast. VANETs have unique characteristics, including high node velocity and changing node velocity. Vehicle to vehicle (V2V) can be used for to providing information about traffic conditions and/or vehicle accidents based on wireless inter-vehicle communication in VANETs. In V2V communication environments, vehicles are wirelessly connected using by multihop communication without access to some any fixed infrastructure. Because of the characteristics, V2V is influenced by rapidly changing network topology and density of neighbor vehicles. It is important to analyze the vehicle mobility pattern for efficient V2V routing protocols. Therefore, this paper designs and implements the vehicle mobility model to invent optimal routing protocols for V2V. And we discuss routing protocol considerations for V2V communication through the analysis of vehicle mobility pattern using VanetMobiSim.
