Education and research at the Institute for Paper Science and Technology in 2001

The first part of the report gives information on the procedure of the appointment of a successor on the chair of Prof Gottsching, who will retire in fall 2002. There is a closer choice of four applicants, to establish the so-called List of Three for the Hessian Ministry of Arts and Science. The second part refers to our research activities, represented by four subjects: Recyclability of Printed Products Investigations on the Optical Properties of Pulp Suspensions Cockling of Inkjet Papers Benchmarking of Effluent Treatment Plants.
