Group Solution for Free Convection Flow of Dissipative Fluid from Non-isothermal Vertical Cone

摘要
Group transformation approach is developed to simulate the problem for effect of viscous dissipation with transient vertical cone at a wall surface temperature varying as a power function of the distance from the apex are considered. The fluid is assumed to be viscous and incompressible. The non-dimensional governing equation partial differential equation with the boundary conditions reduces to ordinary differential equations with appropriate corresponding conditions. The Runge-Kutta shooting method is used to be solved the nonlinear ordinary differential equations.The effect of viscous dissipation at various values of the Prandtl number and the exponent in the power law variation of the surface temperature are presented graphically and comparison with previous work is presented.
