摘要
The innovation of Information Technology (IT) has provided adult learners opportunities to continue their education in ways that did not exist before. Instructional Television (ITV) is one of the new IT playing an increasing role in the University courses which are offered to students. As more and more postsecondary institutions adopt IT as a tool in facilitating student learning, there is a need to investigate the factors that affect learning in order to maximize students' learning effects. Those factors include computer proficiency, technology acceptance, class interaction, attitude, learning styles, and class satisfaction. The purposes of study were to establish student profiles, to distinguish student differences, and to identify the relationships among learning factors in ITV and online courses. Also, this study highlights problems facing and determining the relationship among learning factors. Besides, this study examines current ITV and online courses from the perspectives of students. Statistical method such as multiple regression, path diagram, and canonical correlation were utilized. The results of this study will have significant implications for future virtual learning instructors.
