摘要：
L-Ribose is the important intermediate of L-ribonucleoside virucides. The various synthetic methods for the synthesis of L-ribose and their recent advances are reviewed in this paper. The chemical methods of L-ribose are discussed in detail and the microbial method is also introduced.
