Addition to the records of Baird's Tapir (Tapirus bairdii) in Oaxaca, Mexico

摘要：
In February 2007, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Ingenio, Juchian District, Oaxaca state, we obtained the record of an individual of Baird's Tapir (Tapirus bairdii) from a photograph provided by the inhabitants of the site. The photograph was taken in 2005 during the rainy season, showing a dead adult tapir which was hunted at only 1.5 kin north from Santo Domingo town. This is the most recent record of Baird-Tapir in the state of Oaxaca and suggests that this individual probably moved from the mountainous zone of Los Chimalapas towards the Itsmus of Tehuantepec.
