摘要
The authors study feasibility and usefulness of probability-based scenario earthquakes (PBSEs) for supporting identification of design earthquakes. This paper describes an evaluation of PBSEs for a model site and technical issues on incorporating PBSEs into seismic design of nuclear power plants in Japan.
