摘要
A fuzzy-PI combined control algorithm for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic (PV) array is proposed in this paper. Aiming at the limitation of single PI or fuzzy control algorithm for MPPT, traditional PI and fuzzy control algorithm is combined to the fuzzy-PI algorithm. In the combined algorithm, when the tracking error is great, a fuzzy controller is used to adjust quickly and realize control robustness, and when the tracking error is small, the controller is switched to a PI algorithm to alleviate the steady state error. Simulation results show the high speed and precision of MPPT are achieved with the fuzzy-PI combined algorithm. Meanwhile, if the environmental condition changes, the PV with the combined algorithm can reach a new maximum power point with better tracking performance and stability, which is verified by simulation results in this paper.
