摘要：
The central nervous system (CNS) actions of several hormones, including insulin, regulate metabolism in the liver and other peripheral tissues. Inoue et al. (2006) have now identified an IL-6/STAT3-dependent pathway in the liver that mediates a portion of the hepatic metabolic response to CNS insulin.
