摘要：

In this work discrete event simulation methodology has been extended to treat uncertainties modeled by fuzzy numbers. The soundness of simulation mechanisms has been formally established taking into consideration the new problems arising from the description of system variables as fuzzy sets. Finally the application of the proposed methodology to a single-machine production case and some preliminary results are presented.
