Research on Inter-Provincial Electricity Market Transaction Segmentation and Settlement in Southern China

Constructing a scientific and reasonable settlement rule is a key in the inter-provincial electricity market construction of Southern China. This paper summarizes the electricity market transactions and deeply analyzes the problems of transactions settlement in 2017. Thereafter, a three-stage development trend in the interprovincial electricity market is analyzed, and the two phases of the current phase and the future, - using electricity segmentation and two-stem settlement method respectively, are proposed. Finally, the principle and idea of electricity segmentation method based on the daily dispatch schedule cumulative value are discussed in detail. The proposed electricity segmentation method has been applied to the settlement of inter-province transactions in late 2017.
