摘要
Leishmaniasis due to Leishmania infantum is endemic in France. It is transmitted by the bite of Phlebotomine sandflies belonging to the subgenus Larroussius: P. ariasi and P. perniciosus. These species also transmit Toscana virus. Relationships between Phlebotomine sandflies and Leishmania are evoked and the risk of introduction of other leishmaniases is discussed from the point of view of an entomologist.
