摘要：

The lightweight design strategy is studied as an effective way to build report system on Java EE platform. Instanced by a CBM enterprise information system, a practicable way to design and implement report system based on lightweight framework and lightweight report engine is presented. The system architecture and implementation strategy are described, as well as the technical methods to improve flexibility of reporting system. The result shows that utilizing the new features of Java EE 5 framework, combining with a lightweight report engine built on JasperReports report tool, can simplify the development of such kind of reporting system, reduce its complexity, and improve its flexibility.
