摘要
Electric double layer capacitors for power supply, with electrodes made from a composite material of activated and ordinary carbons, achieve a large capacitance of several farads and an instantaneous supply of large current of several amperes. These capacitors, superior to secondary batteries quick charge and discharge cycles, do not basically require a charging circuit. They are expected to be used as a device against momentary power interruption and to be incorporated in new power supply systems combined with solar cells.
